  • Friends and I used to sometimes add a 'wa' to words, which to us was basically the same as adding a 'y'. So 'cheesewa' is synonymous with 'cheesy:'

"Weird Science? That idiotically sexist movie where Michael Anthony Hall is such a dickweed loser that he repels real women and has to invent an animatronic barbie? Cheesewa."

I thought this was a common construction, but Google results for it are mostly in what I think is Chinese, so maybe not.

  • I like this verbal concoction, but I like to think of it as being spelled with a French -ois on the end, e.g. bourgeois, patois, cheesois. ;)

  • Weirdois.

  • Excuse me?! Who you callin' weirdois, beeotch?! (P.S. if you're talking to more than one of us, I think the proper spelling is weirdoise.)

No offense. I just wanted to type "beeotch."

  • I'm not calling anyone weirdois. I'm just sayin'....

Geez, Googlewhack Queens sure are touchy. Touchwa. Touchois.

  • I hereby deem chained_bear's suffix correct. Sorry John. Future Wordies, you'll want to look at cheesois. Nothing to see here.
