  • We have heard of fiscalism and of Socialism, but no "ism" has created such a stir as "Dreadnoughtism", which in the past few months has raged right around Australia. What was the reason for this? The reason was that Mr. Reginald McKenna, in introducing the British Naval Estimates in the House of Commons, found it necessary to announce to that House, and through it to the world, the necessity for an increase in British naval expenditure.
