Masherbrum (a.k.a. K1) is a mountain located in the Northern Areas of Pakistan is the 22nd highest mountain in the world and the 11th highest in Pakistan. 7,821 metres (25,660 feet).
It is the highest peak of the Masherbrum range, a subrange of the Karakoram range. Although, large and striking peak, it is somewhat overshadowed by the nearby 8000m peaks of the main range of the Karakorams which include four of the fourteen Eight-thousanders[, namely [K2, Gasherbrum I, Broad Peak and Gasherbrum II.
