I stand corrected (Mellifluous) and apologies to all, have been staring at the screen and thumbing through my dogeared copy of Chambers for too many hours today.
Vanished, you should tell EFF who "we" are. It sounds a little ominous the way you put it: "Misspelt words … get tagged misspelling or typo when we come across them."

The word Mellifluos as used to describe the sound in speech brought me to this site.

Wordie doesn't permit 'corrections' as such. You will need to delete mellifluos and add mellifluous to have the correctly-spelled word on your list.

It's they who are the ominous ones. They use arcane, scary tags like stabby (sounds violent) and even hate hate hate.
