Dunno if orichalcum counts. It's not sci-fi-invented, but still widely used (as) imaginary metal. Wikipedia doesn't mention superhero comics, just manga.
But vibranium surely counts. You can't get much more superhero than that.

Nth metal is from the planet Thanagar (DC universe), where Hawkman and Hawkgirl are from. It's sort of like iron.
Should mithril be here, or is Middle Earth fantasy too far from superheroics?
