A really cool trick with a bowed string instrument (violin, viola, cello, etc.) where the strings are played with the wooden portion of the bow instead of with the hairs.
I remember hearing once that the noun form of dawn was first used by Shakespeare in one of his plays. I can't find any information online that would directly supports this. I can only find indirect support with Online Etymology stating that the noun version was first recorded in 1599. Does anyone else know anything about this?
I would like to point out that there have been two historical defenestrations of Prague. It is quite possible that certain groups of people are more prone to throwing other groups of people out of windows.
