Some texts was deleted from my earlier comment re Sustainism (not sure why, I'm new to this site). What I wanted to say is that the just published manifesto on sustainism is the first attempt (that I know anyway) to present what lies behind the word "sustainism", what this characterization of our cultural era stands for. It opens the discussion on what we wish "sustainism" may be. The word is being picked up in Dutch and Italian too, but time will tell how its' meaning will involve. Our book is a starting point for a conversation about the word sustainism as much as what the term could contribute to a better world. Hence the reference to the book Sustainism Is the New Modernism.
"Sustainism" has since been referred to in The New York Times (http://bit.ly/hxMhXZ) , International Herald Tribune, as well as in the Italian (24 Ore-Il Sole) and Dutch press (NRC Handelsblad), and online.
