What about adding words in other languages? Although I suppose there's nothing stopping me from listing words from whatever language(s) I fancy, I'm curious to know what you and others think about this. It could create a problem for trying to look up the word for example in the English Wikipedia though.
This site is brilliant! One feature I'd like to see though is an optional spellchecker before I add my words to my list -- it's a nuisance to have to open up another browser window just because I can't quite remember how many p's are in hippopotomonstrosesquippedalian or something.
There's a story that in 1843, after annexing the Indian province of Sind, British General Sir Charles Napier sent home a telegram with the one word, "Peccavi" implying "I have Sind."
Then later, when another general annexed another Indian province, some wit wrote:
"Peccavi" - I've Sind - wrote Napier so proud;
More briefly Dalhousie wrote "Vovi" - I've Oudh.
(Peccavi in Latin is "I have sinned;" vovi is "I vowed")

Scintillate, scintillate, globule lucific.
Fain would I fathom thy nature specific.
