Thanks to Emmy Noether, we have a profound result that helped put energy conservation onto a rigorous platform, gave us relativists the Bianchi Identities, and provided hours of problems in QFT and classical mechanics for students to work though.

Every QFT is different: each describes different types of particles that have different charges and interactions between the particles.

Well, it turns out that a QFT is specified by a function, the “potential energy,” denoted here,.

And I don't think particle theorists have any grudge towards Aspect's results: relativistic QFT is fully compatible with the standard QM: as Dirac famously said, QFT is a marriage between QM and relativity.

The QFT is the mathematics of point-like objects (particles) in a Euclidean or Minkwoski space.

I’m sure they cover it in QFT (and that’s where a lot of people come across it for the first time, from what I’ve gathered), even though it is perfectly understandable at an undergraduate level.

The way Noether’s theorem is done in QFT texts are often “wrong” pedagogically: the derivation they give for the field theory version makes a lot more sense if you think about it as an analogy to the classical mechanics version.

We have no graduate courses in classical mechanics and I can only assume her theorem is taught in our QFT courses.
