If this word is meant to mean "old", then there are a few examples that don't seem to fit. Number 2, I think, is a misprint of "and". In Number 6 the first "aad" is obviously joined on to the preceding C, to make the word "caad", which in this example is a variation of "cold". Number 7, 8, 9 and 10 all look like a misprint for "and". I haven't checked any more examples yet. I dread to think what I'll find. It seems someone has just been looking for "aad" without checking its suitability
