carrual commented on the word blog-in
Having used this word recently to describe the blogging campaign for The Girl Effect, I'd like to offer a definition for consideration:
"A coordinated, online rally of bloggers around a contemporary social issue; Blogging in concert with other bloggers to effect political change or raise public awareness about a topic."
Example Sentence:
"This month, blogger Tara Mohr (the founder of Wise Living) invited me to participate in a blog-in about the social media-driven project known as The Girl Effect." - Allison Carruth, Envo (2010)
