Where a cat is immobilized by pinching the back of the neck simulating how a mother cat would have carried it's kittens. The 'clip' part of clipnosis comes from using binder clips to pinch the back of the neck.

I try this with my cats occasionally, but they just think I'm sadistically pinching their necks.
