Vowels are indeed another matter, and I agree with your choice of symbols for the glides, which I think are becoming standard as the UK publisher preference for IPA symbols over letters/diacritics takes hold.

Here are the extended ASCII codes that allow diacritic marks to be entered from the keyboard. Headwords in Wordie generally don't have diacritics unless it would be confusing to omit them, but that's up to individual preference (see here).
Turn on num lock, then hold down the alt key while typing the numeric code on the number pad. (This usually works with PCs; if not, try adding a 0 before the code). You can also cut and paste characters. Open a second browser window or tab to paste from here to the page you are working on.
