SBC. quince. 'nj' denotes the palatal nasal ɲ. This word sounds beautiful and dreamy in SBC, and is a metaphor for old memories (being what grandmothers put atop the closet to perfume a room) or a term of romantic affection for women (also, in fact, a female name). There is an old song called "Jesen stiže, dunjo moja", which translates abysmally to "My quince, autumn is coming".
