Ha ha ha! That's true, except for, say, all of South America, and maybe Idaho. Good one! ;)
I would think the fake mashed potatoes are the real affront to Irishmen (isn't "Irishman" actually offensive itself? Oops...) than the word fauxtatoes. What an awesome word.
