I feel that fearbola is the epidemic of fear that makes people behave irrationally to the ebola threat:

People close borders, healthy people get quarantined, people wear plastic suits and gloves and facemasks on planes, kids get denied entry to schools even though they're healthy and passed a 21 day incubation period, countries bar flights from affected countries, countries impose visa restrictions, and health workers get stigmatized by co-workers
