after "Gothic Lolita" (goth lolly--a lacy black dessert?), the well-known fashion (and comportment) style popularized by Japan though reasonably well bled into the rest of the urbanized world as well. the Victorian doll is the prototype for this look, which is--puzzlingly--affected by many people far too old to be having dolls at all.

there is a distinct culture among hardcore Goth Lollies, a sort of feminine hell wherein initiates are mercilessly cut down for their sartorial deficiencies (there being a necessary attention to detail--not to mention cash--in a complete Goth Lolly look). high-ranking Goth Lollies also take up antiquated feminine hobbies, including the fine old tradition of hanging out in front of the webcam in full costume. at times they may get together and perform a sort of mute freak-out, settling at a crowded bar and sitting still, drinking nothing, for an hour or two.
