This thread is a f’r instance: I’m no fan of Kaus, but I spoke up for him running for office, just cuz it is generally a good thing when somebody who’s been hollering from the sidelines about how the game ought to be played, gets out on the field — maybe they will discover they really are as good as they thought they were when they were in the bleachers.
