Oh, and aside from orchids, we learned what lithops are plants that look like rocks.
I think it is named this because it looks like several of the smaller “living rock” cactuses, some varieties of lithops in particular, which have geometrical whorls stacked verticallyh.
I thought it was pretty, and brought it into my basement, setting it on a table where I keep lithops plants...under fluorescent lights.
