I. Galea (16 hours, 25 minutes ago) same thing happened to my grandfather, a couple of years later. the shark was bigger than his luzzu. he said he thought it was tuna, so he tried to catch it, but turned out to be a shark which started thrashing about in the water and almost sunk the boat, then it swam off towards comino.

A traditional fishing boat from the Maltese islands, usually painted in bright yellow, red, green, and blue, the bow pointed with a pair of eyes. The eyes, like the boat's design, are believed to date from ancient Phoenician times; they are sometimes referred to as the Eye of Horus or of Osiris. Also see dghaisa.
