  • "Rude" or "ill-mannered" in Italian. Always used by my mom in the phrase "Scustumato! Maleducato!" to scold us when we misbehaved.

    I had a friend who liked the phrase so much that she used the words to name two pet gerbils. Kind of took the air out of the whole epithet, if you ask me. ;-)
