I have a rem model 7 with an HS precision stock and a pac nor 20 barrel. it's 8lbs without scope, and shoots about .75 MOA, with hunting loads. and I never reach for it, but if it came down to just one, I'd have to go with a bolt gun that's indestructable and shoots the nato round, just in case the Obamaites get thier way.

July 19, 2009 3: 11 PM native oregonian, that diatribe was truly hilarious! in the rest of the world "s" means owen, morris and schumpeter -- not marx and lenin. the majority of our nato allies are socialist or have been governed by socialists. i would remind native oregonian that both china and the erstwhile soviet union were not only "socialist" but also self-proclaimed "republics". what does this say about republicans ...

North Atlantic Treaty Organization:

The founding members of NATO are Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Britain, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, and the United States. Greece, Spain, Turkey, and Germany became members later. France was a founding member, but withdrew from NATO's military command in 1967. The Warsaw Pact was signed by the Soviet Union and its allies largely in response to the formation of NATO. Since the end of the cold war, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Poland have joined.
