As in John's citation, ojek refers to motorcycle transport where the driver will carry a pillion passenger for a negotiated fee. A variation found in some parts of Jakarta, particularly the northern sector of the city, is ojek sepeda. These are pedal bicycles with a kind of kiddie seat over the rear wheel for the passenger.
