According to Chris Cole in Wordplay there are five common words tied for the most repeats of the letter 'e' (five--enfeeblement is one). Although this would be an uncommon word in his usage, it is a whole letter ahead of the record holders. I wonder if he knows about it? It's not in his book that I can find.

As far as I know, the record holder for e's is peekeeneenee.
