I would like to add a new word to the Wordnik community.
sagescent: (seɪdʒ.sənt): adj, n. Becoming wise or in the process of becoming wise. The word points to a gradual growth of insight that often deepens with age.
Etymology: From Latin sapient meaning wise and the suffix escent meaning becoming, from Latin escentem, which refers to a gradual process of change or development.
