Semasiographologist commented on the word semasiographologist
Sampson wrote about language --- Published as an entry in The MIT Encyclopedia of the Cognitive Sciences, MIT Press, 1999.
I may have first seen "semasiographic" in a paper by Marc Davis.
I decided "semasiographic" needed a word to describe a student/practioner, like linguist, so I invented semasiographologist.
