Other - Taxes to the best of my understanding: if you received state-assistance, then you will get a form 1099 from the state. please confirm from state-office. that form will have amount of money given to you and amount of taxes withheld. so that means that you have to file a tax return but lets say that you dont get a 1099 form from state.
