  • Is it obsolete because all those people finally figured out that standing around waiting for someone to estimate their number was really boring? (Or because serfdom was abolished?)

  • I'd venture to guess that it's obsolete because no one knew how to pronounce the darn thing without tripping over it and slamming on the mouth-brakes.
