A singularly peculiar Galician teat-shaped (or Hershey's kiss, if you prefer) cows' milk cheese, especially the Frisona, Pardo Alpina, and Rubia Gallega varieties. It has a slightly salty, mild, creamy taste, a smooth texture, and a light yellow color. A dessert cheese served with membrillo (quince) paste or used in au gratin recipes.
