I assume this list is "words with the suffix (i)cide". Decide is based off of Decision, and does not have the suffix "cide" meaning death.

Sorry for any confusion! I should have been more clear in naming this list. The suffix "-cide" (killer or act of killing) is correct; we've got "genocide" instead of "genicide," for instance. It comes from the Latin caedere, which means to cut, cut down, strike, beat or kill. Decide is also derived from caedere, I think -- but not in the killing sense. And this is a list reserved for killy words. ;)
