I see la-ti-da / la ti da as a reference to light hearted singing, as in la ti do in the musical scale and is typically used to suggest a carefree attitude that would would be presumed of a person contentedly singing or humming a tune. So a "la-t-da" attitude would be one that is carefree, contented and happy. la-ti-da
