  • 2 months agog Plethora defines a Wordie tag as a way to link words, and gives 2 examples of tagged words, which were links to the "central" word page for each. So far i'm good. But then the following comment made by chained_bear' ("How Do I Use This Site?"), a Wordie tag is used on a list called "this list", which as promised was a list.

Where did I go wrong when I expected "this list" to be anchored html, not tagged?

  • No, I just joined this site yesterday, actually. I read the FAQ, traversed the posts for a few hours, and did my stumbling best to join in.

Thankfully that terse dismissal brought me down to size.

This makes you the weirdest new Wordie. I like it. :)

You may want to read the answer to "What, if anything, is a tag?" on faq, as a bland form of guidance (I made it up, so it's not a formal rule).
