  • Italian - farm, not factory. Interestingly this subject throws up another false friend in fabbrica, factory not fabric. To cover all options, spread your investments between a farm and a fabric factory and you shall live in peace.

  • fabrika also means 'factory' in SBC (and, I warrant, several other European languages).

    I often see the false friend effect with sensible, which means 'sensitive' in (many? all?) Romance languages.
