thanks! i snatched up the ones i knew and i added wookie, too. i'm not familiar with the others though... what are 47 and thwip from? i've heard liger and pikachu before but the other 2 are new to me.

Click on the "47" in my earlier post for an explanation -- the number has the odd tendency of sneaking into nearly every episode of Star Trek... As far as "thwip," that's the sound Spider-Man's web-shooter makes, and probably the coolest and most fanboyish onomatopoeia there is. :-)

You could probably put snikt on this list -- that'd be the noise of Wolverine's claws popping in or out. And as far as fandom terms, no list is complete without hoyay.
