Would the 1526 Tyndale New Testament use of this in Matthew 6:24 be the equivalent of to "grant/permit" or the equivalent of "lean on" since both versions of "lene" seem possible from these entries. I wonder which he had in mind........(A modern translation of the Greek would be "be loyal to")
