My version of The Vulgar Tongue is supposedly a reproduction of the 1785 version, by Francis Grose. All of these terms are in it so I think it's the same book; not sure where the 26 years went to.

The 1811 edition was 'now considerably altered and enlarged, with the modern changes and improvements'.

It is the same book; mine is probably the same as yours but was reprinted in 1811. If it makes you feel better, I'll change the title of my list to reflect the 1785 origins. :)

I can't look it up right now as the book is at home.
