Contemporary character classes?

as a youth, my group devised a pen-and-paper RPG, based in contemporary crime and suspense fiction + nonfiction, set in blighted urban centers, slurbs, and hinterlands of america. a mostly original ruleset was developed. many of the plot elements were ripped from the headlines. fun was had

the point is—while making up rules, we shied from the convention of specifying narrowly defined “character classes”, instead collaboratively listing occupations, archetypes and identifiers that could be applied to the game characters.

i was just now ransacking some old CD-ROMs(!), and stumbled upon the list. here it is.

I need a better name for this list, suggestions welcome.
